Muhammad Zubair

Executive Director

Mr. Muhammad Zubair is the Executive Director/Chairman of GEESE. Over 18 years of experience, he specialized in Education, Community Development, project Management, Advocacy, Youth Empowerment, Democracy, Children's Rights, DRM, school safety, Gender Development, School Based Health Education Programs, Social and Educational Research and Institutional strengthening. Having an experience of more than two decades and expertise in the field of organizational development, public relations, sustainable development, and humanitarian action of Education, Community Development, project Management, Advocacy, Youth Empowerment, Democracy, Children's Rights, DRM, school safety, Gender Development, Social and Educational Research and Institutional strengthening. Executive Director GEESE, also served at Provincial and National levels. His geographical experience ranges from KPK, AJK, Punjab, ICT and Sindh and had been working with UN, USAID, INGOs, academic institutions, PITE, RITE, DCTE, DCRD, Textbook boards, ECP, NADRA and various political parties of Pakistan. He has vast experience in the field of Institutional Development and Strategic Planning, Project Development and Management, Monitoring & Evaluation, Finance and Grants Management, Donors Managed/Programmes Implemented, Reporting and Publications, Human Resources Management / Capacity Development, Networking/Stakeholder Coordination, Materials Development, democratic governance; and has demonstrated experience in Pakistan with different national and international organizations. Executive Director GEESE, has collaborated with the USAID, UN agencies, US Consulate and other donors during various assignments.

Dr. Asfandyar Khan

Senior Manager Program Dev. & Quality Assurance

Asfandyar Khan is serving as Senior Manager of Prog. Dev & Quality Assurance. Asfandyar Khan has served the development sector in Pakistan as a development and environmentalist for 18 years. During the course of his career, he has completed various assignments for local and international organizations, playing his role in the social development and empowerment of underprivileged communities. He received both graduate and post-graduate including Ph.D. degrees in Environment Science and Development. Moreover, he specializes in Strategic environmental assessments, micro-entrepreneurship development, strategic planning and development, local government mechanisms, environmental impact assessments (EIA), pollution control technology (PCT), natural resource management, and designing large-scale programs for development. He has extensive experience in the socio-development sector. In the past 18 years, he has completed more than 100 small and large projects with a diverse group of partners, ranging from community-based organizations to international donor agencies and the government. He has conceptualized and designed projects for USAID, ADB, ILO, IFC-World Bank, and JICA, among others. Additionally, he lends instructional design and module development services to GIZ, Adam Smith International, WWF, PPAF, Trocaire, BISP, Afghanaid, UN-Women, ILO, and UNDP among others.

Kashif Hafeez

Program Manager

Having experience of around Eighteen years in the humanitarian field, with progressive increase in the responsibilities. The period includes, Emergency Responses (Earthquake, Floods, Complex Emergencies), Social Mobilization, Community Development, Project Designing, Management and Implementation, Livelihoods and Trainings, Cash Grants, Physical Infrastructure, Village Level Development, Disaster Risk Reduction & Climate Change Adaptation, School Safety Programme and Capacity Building of organizational staff and Communities, Monitoring & Evaluation, Governance, SDG 16.9, Report generation (Annual reports, monthly reports, midterm reports and project completion reports) and coordination in National and International Organization. I am working in the Field of Disaster Management from last 13 years’ Experience has taught me how to build strong relationships with all departments at an organization. I have the ability to work within a team as well as cross-team. I can work with team to resolve issues and implement programme effectively. Cross-functional expertise in all phases of training, response, and emergency situations in case of disasters. I also possess enhanced experience in evaluating organizational needs and superintending the programmatic activities and relief, service & outreach programs to consistently achieve and surpass operating goals. My aim of life is to serve people in field of disasters and trained them for life saving skills, for me its not only my work but it’s my passion. I dedicated my life to serve people in disasters

Khadeeja Bibi

Senior Project Officer

Bibi Khadija is an accomplished professional with 17 years of dedicated experience in the social sector, both at national and international level organizations. Her expertise primarily lies in Education, Livelihoods, Women Empowerment, Economic Empowerments, Health and Water & Sanitation. Khadija with a Master's degree in Education possesses a remarkable skill set that includes team building, strong mobilization capabilities, effective communication, training proficiency, report writing proficiency, stakeholder’s coordination, conflict resolution, advocacy, monitoring and evaluation, critical thinking, and adaptability. Her energy and enthusiasm drive her to consistently deliver outstanding results within set timelines. Khadija is currently working with GEESE in the capacity of Senior Project Officer for its one of the project “Skill Enhancement and Job Placement of forcibly displaced women and girls in Afghan Refugees Camps of District Mansehra and Haripur, KP Pakistan”.

Shahana Basheer

Finance Officer

Shahana Bashir is an accomplished professional with 6 years of dedicated experience in the social sector at national Organization. Shahana Bashir with a Master's degree in Accounts possesses a remarkable skill set that includes Examine financial statements to ensure that they are accurate and comply with laws and regulations. Compute taxes owed, prepare tax returns, and ensure that taxes are paid properly and on time. Inspect account books and accounting systems for efficiency and use of accepted accounting procedures. Organize, analyze, and maintain financial records. She manages the employee including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, administering benefits, compensation and firing. Her energy and enthusiasm drive her to consistently deliver outstanding results within set timelines.
