About Us

Global Educational, Economic and Social Empowerment (GEESE) is a non-profit organization enthused to organize, educate and empower community to promote and develop leadership for social transformation through liberating forces. GEESE aims to bring about social justice, economic growth, sustainability and self-reliance. GEESE was established in 2008 and registered in 2011 with Joint Stock Companies and Societies, under the Societies Act. 1860

GEESE’s core body brings diverse professional experiences. We have a strong background to offer multi-sector development projects and have institutionalized policies, systems and procedures at par with international donor standards. Our 12-year progress is a strong evidence of successful project implementation in multiple sectors. Livelihood, Environment (Climate Change), WASH, Livelihood, Governance, Education, Democracy, SBDRM & CBDRM, Youth Empowerment, Child/Human Rights, Staff Development, Vocational Trainings for Increasing Employability, Coordination and Linkage Development have been the focused themes. Through these projects, Citizens’ Voter Groups (CVGs), Vigilance Committee (VC), District Electoral Reforms Groups (DERG), Youth Volunteer Forum (YVF) were formed, trained and supported for their vital contribution towards community-driven achievements and sustainability. We take pride for receiving positive response from multiple stakeholders, e.g. youth, children, and communities – the rights holders and government and non-government officials – the duty bearers and making successful attempts in a short span of time. We are pleased to share that on the basis of sound internal control and compliance, GEESE has been selected as champion organization by Green Acre Associates UK and also selected as Cooperative Potential Partner by USAID, UNWFP, UNICEF, US Consulate Peshawar, UN WOMEN, Islamic Relief Pakistan & USA and UNDP.

Children are at the heart of GEESE. In programme designs, while respecting their rights, we ensure to create direct or indirect positive impacts for them..


GEESE stands fast to create healthy programmes for awareness and purposeful engagement of youth to promote collaboration and eradicate illiteracy and diseases.


GEESE believes in democracy and takes it as first priority for sustainable development in the country and continues to raise awareness about democratic values, free and fair elections and basic human rights of the masses.


GEESE propagates for cleaner and greener environment, targets mass awareness and capacity building of CBOs about natural and human-made disasters that threaten life and mitigate disaster impacts.


GEESE’s programmes are designed to address the needs of people with disabilities for empowering them to participate in social and economic activities regardless of religion, gender, race, culture and status.
